- Blue – Staff (Both Microsoft and External Vendors)
- Black – Crew (sort of an ‘Uber-Staff’ badge – don’t mess with these people)
- Green – Attendee
- Grey – Trade Show Only
- Orange – Exhibitor
- Purple – Tech-Ed Sponsor and Exhibitor Booth Staff
- Red – Media/Analyst
- Yellow – Speaker
